WITH summer just around the corner it's time to shift our focus to activities like fishing.

Someone who has mixed rugby league and fishing is former Sharks international Andrew Ettingshausen.

Before he became an elite rugby league player and one of the sport's most inspirational role models, ET was hooked on fishing.

From age five, when catching his first bream felt like he was landing a marlin, ET grew up chasing mullet and garfish with his dad and grandad.
